Some terminology may have changed with the switch to Mountain Lion and iTunes 11, but the same principles apply. Also, these instructions were written for Lion and iTunes 10. The one exception is the discussion in the Appendix about various computer interface standards (USB, Firewire, etc.) There, I’ve tried to describe in very simple terms some ideas which I barely understand.
